Brisbane Airport Transfers

Terminals are linked via orange Terminal Transfer Buses and also by Airtrains that run between Brisbane airport and Brisbane city.

Brisbane Airport Buses

Terminal Transfer Buses run between the Domestic and International Terminal, Skygate Center, DFO and AIRPARK.

Schedule:

Every 25 minutes between 4.00 am and 6.00 am
Every 10 minutes between 6.00 am and 7.00 pm
Every 25 minutes between 7.00 pm and 11.00 pm

After 11.00 pm, AIRPARK transfer buses replace Terminal Transfer Buses.

Orange bus stops are located outside both terminals, at the Qantas and Virgin airlines' ends. Terminal Transfer Buses arrive into Level 4 - Departures at the International Terminal. They depart from this terminal from Curbside on Level 2 of Arrivals.

AIRPARK buses run 24/7 between AIRPARK and both terminals. The AIRPARK bus stop is in the same location as the one for Terminal Transfer Buses.

Services for all transfer buses are free. AIRPARK buses operate every 15 minutes from 3.00 am to 11.00 pm, and every 30 minutes from 11.00 pm to 3.00 am.

Buses to Brisbane City and Suburbia

Distinctive white, blue and red minibuses of Con-X-ion link both terminals with destinations in Brisbane city and along the Gold and Sunshine coasts. Tickets can be purchased from www.con-x-ion.com or sales kiosks at the terminals. The bus meeting points are at the Visitor Information Desk at the International Terminal, and the forecourt nearest the Virgin end of the Domestic Terminal. A single ticket into Brisbane costs AU$19.00 per person.

Brisbane City Council Buses

Brisbane City Council Buses start from Skygate Center. Passengers for onward travel by City Council Bus should take the Terminal Transfer Bus to Skygate Center. Bus route 590 runs at regular intervals into Brisbane city center.

Brisbane Airport Trains

Airtrains operates between the airport and Brisbane Central Train Station, and offers also express service to the Gold Coast. Airtrain connects to Queensland Rail Suburban Network and runs every 15 minutes during peak times, and every half hour during off-peak hours, from 05.04 am to 10.04 pm on weekdays, from 06.04 am to 10.04 pm on weekends.

Tickets for all journeys can be purchased at Airtrain desks located at the terminals or at Airtrain stations or online at https://translink.com.au or www.airtrain.com.au. Single tickets into Brisbane cost AU$19.00 when bought at Airtrain desks, and AU$16.15, when bought online.

Brisbane Airport Taxis

Taxis are available from sheltered ranks outside the Domestic and International terminals. Brisbane has two taxi companies that are licensed to handle airport transfers:

A ticket to central Brisbane costs between AU$45.00 and AU$55.00.

Brisbane Airport Car Rental

Brisbane car rental includes Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Enterprise, and Thrifty. Their desks are at the Domestic Terminal on Level 1, near Baggage Reclaim at the Qantas and Virgin ends, and at the International Terminal on Level 2, behind Spoon Café.

Don't forget - if you plan to travel during your stay, it might be more economical to rent a car at Brisbane Airport.
