For an additional AU$7.00 a day (prices 2019) renters can reduce the excess on insurance even further (down to AU$500.00 per vehicle).

Optional extras from Tiger Brisbane Airport include GPS navigation, baby seats and additional drivers. They are charged at AU$2.00 a day, capped at AU$15.00 per person. The minimum deposit any driver has to leave to secure a rental is AU$200.00. Discounts are applied to rentals covering 3 days and more. Drivers must be at least 21 years old to rent from Tiger. Renters aged 21 to 24 pay a fee of AU$15.00 per day, and have an excess reduction of AU$1,500. Drivers aged 25 to 85 (max age limit) are also offered an excess reduction of AU$1,500. All drivers must have held their driving licence for at least a full year prior to the start of their rental contract with Tiger Brisbane Airport.

If you exceed the 100 km limit included in the base rate, you are charged AU$0.30 per kilometer traveled. Visa and Mastercard credit cards are accepted. A 3.00% surcharge applies to all credit card payments. Cash and EFTPOS payments are accepted; there is no fee for this type of transaction.
