Sixt deals from Brisbane Airport include unlimited in most car rental agreements, although some of the larger vehicles sometimes only come with 600 free kilometers as part of the arrangement. For example, the Toyota Commuter minibus, which seats up to 12 people, comes with 600 free kilometers, while the Hyundai Accent and Nissan Almera, both sedans, come with unlimited kilometers as part of the package.

If you pay online, you can make a small saving. Base rates include free amendments and cancellation. Optional extras available from Sixt Brisbane Airport include additional drivers, navigation systems and insurance cover for tires and windshields.

The minimum age renters must be is 21. Drivers aged 21 to 24 are subject to a daily fee and can only rent from groups C, E, F, I and S. Renters aged 25 and over can rent from any group, including PVAR (this group includes minibuses like the one mentioned above). Renters must have valid credit cards and must have held their driving licence for at least one full year prior to the start of their Sixt contract. The maximum age renters can be is 80 years.

Deposits range from AU$385.00 to max. AU$1,000.00, depending on the vehicle selected. Only Visa or Mastercard credit/debit cards are accepted for the deposit. If using a debit card for the deposit, renters should note that a surcharge of 5% applies.
